Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join their team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, analytical thinking, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Quality Control Technician
Location: Fort Mill, SC
Pay Range: 23.00 per hour
Shift: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 pm to 6:30 am
What's the Job?
Conduct quality inspections and audits of manufacturing processes, components, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections, accurately recording measurement data into database systems for analysis and reporting.
Read and interpret blueprint drawings, utilizing precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.
Identify and document discrepancies, assisting in completing corrective and preventative actions to improve quality outcomes.
Operate forklifts, power pallet jacks, or manual carts to unload, move, or store materials safely and efficiently.
What's Needed?
Minimum of two years of related work experience in quality inspection or manufacturing environments.
Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and reading blueprints.
Ability to work with Excel, create spreadsheets, and manipulate data for analysis.
Strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and continuous improvement techniques.
Physical ability to lift, slide, or flip materials up to 50 pounds, with the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
