Quality Control Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join their team. As a Quality Control Technician, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, analytical thinking, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Quality Control Technician

Location: Fort Mill, SC

Pay Range: 23.00 per hour

Shift: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 pm to 6:30 am

What's the Job?

• Conduct quality inspections and audits of manufacturing processes, components, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections, accurately recording measurement data into database systems for analysis and reporting.

• Read and interpret blueprint drawings, utilizing precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.

• Identify and document discrepancies, assisting in completing corrective and preventative actions to improve quality outcomes.

• Operate forklifts, power pallet jacks, or manual carts to unload, move, or store materials safely and efficiently.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of two years of related work experience in quality inspection or manufacturing environments.

• Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and reading blueprints.

• Ability to work with Excel, create spreadsheets, and manipulate data for analysis.

• Strong problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis and continuous improvement techniques.

• Physical ability to lift, slide, or flip materials up to 50 pounds, with the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
